Kanha Jungle Lodge

Kanha Jungle Lodge is located near the Mukki entrance of Kanha National Park and surrounded by 11 acres of dense Sal woodland. You are in for a warm and comfortable stay. The facility has been designed and constructed with as little disruption to the surrounding natural environment as possible and is operated according to eco-friendly principles: Kanha Jungle Lodge is plastic-free.

The lovely bungalows of Kanha Jungle Lodge are stunning and integrate contemporary design with traditional village architecture. The stay is even more exquisite and peaceful in every sense, blessed by the forest’s unique fragrance, being lavishly surrounded by sal trees.

The Bhati family has developed relationships with numerous members of the Gond and Baiga tribes at Kanha Jungle Lodge over the past few years. As a result of this companionship, guests can gain a glimpse into the life of these stunning tribal people.

We love Kanha Jungle Lodge because it is an enduring tribute to the numerous native crafts that are produced in the area, like bamboo wastebaskets and woven lampshades. Products are purchased directly from locals to strengthen the community while making sure they are in keeping with tradition.

Gastronomy

The promotion of farm to table cuisine has become a growing priority for Kanha Jungle Lodge. With their many fruit trees—guava, jamun, mango, and lemon, to name just a few—as well as many homegrown herbs, the lodge has also found a spot to produce additional vegetables.
With recipes that are a tribute to the region but are expertly conceptualised to suit the taste buds of the global traveller, the lodge's set menu offers guests wholesome and delectable meals.
The variety of dishes is enormous and simply teeming with flavour.

Comfort

The Lodge offers 18 spacious double–bed rooms and two independent deluxe cottages, nestled among verdant jungle near the Mukki entrance of Kanha National Park. After sumptuous breakfast at a spacious thatched dining hall you can simply stroll around the lodge area, sit and read while enjoying coffee or snooze in the serenity of your jungle home. You can learn about many of the jungle's living beauties during slow evening strolls through the expansive lodge campus.
Later you can consider an afternoon picnic under the refreshing shade of the sal trees.
