Taj Rambagh Palace

The Taj Rambagh Palace, which was initially constructed in 1835, has gracefully navigated a number of royal transitions. It has served as a royal guesthouse, hunting lodge, and later as the palace of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II and his queen, Maharani Gayatri Devi.

Today, this crown jewel of the Taj provides 78 large, exquisitely refurbished luxury rooms and suites in Jaipur that were the Maharaja’s quarters. Swarna Mahal is a restaurant where you eat on gold crockery. The palace has retained much of its ornate splendour, which was lavishly embellished with hand-carved marble “jalis” or latticework, sandstone balustrades, cupolas, and “chattris” or cenotaphs, as well as magnificent Mughal Gardens.

Why do we love Taj Rambagh Palace ?

Flocks of peacocks and pigeons. Live oriental music. Sumptuous tropical fruit buffets. We love Taj Rambagh Palace, this so-called “Jewel of Jaipur,” because you can experience the splendour and tradition of kings and princes.

Evenings are simply magical as the palace lamps come alive. This vintage destination is the ideal location for a pleasant break from Delhi and Ahmedabad. Staff are highly professional, kind and extremely caring. Your butlers captivate you with various fascinating tales and anecdotes about former maharajas. Famous tourist destinations in and around Jaipur are conveniently closeby.

What can I look forward to?

Grandeur, opulence, and vintage royal heritage. An experience like none other
