Ratan Villas

Seven kilometres from Nakki Lake, hidden behind tall bamboo trees and silver oaks en-route Gurushikhar Road opposite Peace park, Ratan Villas is a 20 Villa and 5 room boutique luxury resort with a restaurant, a café and a bar. The Sadar Market and its chaotic classic Indian Bazaar appeal are only ten minutes away and the massive Mehrangarh Fort, which dominates the Blue City, is about 20 minutes’ drive from the hotel.

Ratan Villas is a lovely property, steeped in history, very well maintained and extremely tastefully arranged. Your hosts at Hotel Ratan Villas will be Brijraj Singh and Namrata Singh, the great-grandson of Maharaja Ratan Singhji. Along with their delightful staff they gladly invite you into their house and into their lives.

Set in the bustling city centre but tucked away from the busy streets on sizable grounds beneath a canopy of mature trees, Ratan Vilas has plenty of space within to hang out and relax! It  offers amazing experiences like a meal under the sky on the topmost hill, treks in the mountains and bird watching.

We love that Ratan Villas is away from the chaos of the city and lets you sit in the garden or at the pool and completely forget that you are in such a central location!

Experiences

When out exploring, Mehrangarh Fort and the Museum, Zip lining, Jaswant Thada, Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park are few of the activities and attractions you could visit during your stay.
You can return to the sanctuary of the hotel which is centred on the dazzling pool at Ratan Villas surrounded by mature trees and lush vegetation. A sheltered terrace has even more inviting seating and offers a tranquil view of the pool and the gorgeous sandstone hotel building in the distance. You can also enjoy the Well Being Hut for well deserved massages.

Gastronomy

You'll find a fusion of traditional Indian flavours and continental dishes, much like the hotel's decor in Jodhpur.
Breakfast options include a tempting array of continental and Indian meals, as well as glasses of freshly squeezed juice and entire fruits. Traditional home-cooked dishes and continental fare are abundant on the à la carte lunch and dinner menus, many of which have become strong favourites of the hotel's frequent guests. If you have a craving for a bite or two sometime between meals, snacks are available throughout the day.

The 300 square feet of character and old-world charm found in the Courtyard Standard rooms open onto spacious verandas with inviting sit-outs.
