Amet Haveli

Between 1734 and 1752 A.D., Maharana Jagat Singh Ji II of Udaipur ordered the construction of Amet Haveli. He was the architect of the renowned Jag Niwas, or modernly, Lake Palace. The open ground near to the modern-day Amet Haveli served as the source for all the stone work and raw materials used to create Lake Palace.

Perched perfectly on the shores of Lake Pichola, the Ambrai restaurant offers an unrivalled view of the Jagdish Temple, Gangaur Ghat, City Palace, Lake Palace, and Jag Mandir. There is also a stunning garden palace, called the Badi Mahal, at Amet Haveli, one of only three such.The hotel is 800 metres from Bagore ki Haveli and 1.5 kilometres from the City Palace of Udaipur.

The Ambrai restaurant has been a city favourite since 1998 and is renowned for its picturesque perspective and fine dining experience.
The 300-year-old Amet Haveli's one-of-a-kind outdoor dining area offers a glittering view during the day and a candlelit mosaic at night. Enjoy its traditional hospitality and delectable dishes while listening to the sound of the sea and chirping birds, beneath the shadow of the beautiful Khirni tree. Ambrai offers a variety of cuisines, including real Rajasthani, Chinese, and European fare.

The hotel provides the ultimate comfort and elegance directly on the banks of Lake Pichola. It has 22 lake-facing rooms, including 8 heritage suites, 8 super deluxe rooms, and 6 legacy deluxe rooms. The old world beauty that characterises the Haveli is still present though each room is furnished with all contemporary conveniences.
Haveli renovations were made while keeping in mind the structure's historic architectural design. This was done with the intention of providing their guests with modern conveniences in an ambiance that pays homage to the Rajput era.
