Taj Banjaar Tola

The Taj Banjaar Tola safari resort is located on the Banjaar River’s banks, with a view of the park’s core. On the banks of the tranquil river, with a view of the national park, are two small camps, each with nine tents. Each classy camp has a pool, interactive dining areas, and indoor and outdoor leisure areas. 

Guest areas are decorated with beautiful stone carvings, Bastar bell metal work, and Gond artwork, all of which highlight the region’s rich cultural past. A 90-acre private Sal forest, grasslands, and a seasonal lake are scattered around this jungle safari resort at Kanha National Park. The camp's food honours native flavours and combines them with perennial favourites to please every palate. At Banjaar Tola there's wonder in everyday moments: A lavish breakfast can be laid up on the bonnet of your jeep In the middle of the forest! A wooded clearing is illuminated by so many lanterns, and the air is filled with the soft aroma of clay ovens!
A private dinner is best enjoyed on the private wooden deck of each tent, which overlooks the serene river below and the forest that surrounds it.

Comfort

The 18 tented suites at Banjaar Tola are situated on high platforms and have been built with a minimal footprint to conserve the nearby riverine ecology. Private terraces overlooking the river are accessible through large glass doors, providing sweeping views of the surrounding wilderness. The pressed bamboo wall and floor panels with fabrics give a light airy atmosphere in delicate shades of saffron, forest green, and earthy cinnamon.
There's a king-sized bed with numerous pillows, a few lounge beds on the deck. Curtains part to reveal a magical green forest.
