Jodhpur
The Blue City
Jodhpur, the former capital of the Marwar region, is popularly known as “the Blue City” because its blue walls and houses appear completely blue from above.
Jodhpur is best known for its temples, lakes, and snacks, with the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort serving as the main draw. Jodhpur’s magic is found in the streets of the old city, which circles the mighty Mehrangarh. Hundreds of shops, guesthouses, eating establishments, and vendors make it a bustling chirpy town, particularly near the iconic clock tower and Sardar Market.
