Largest National Park in Central India
Kanha National Park, located in the central region of Madhya Pradesh, is the largest National Park in central India and has been rated as one of the best parks in Asia.
Since its inception in 1955, the park has actively contributed to the preservation of many endangered species. In 1974, the National Park was designated as a Project Tiger Reserve. The Kanha National Park, which is rich in flora and fauna, is home to one of the rarest species of deer, the Barasingha.
