Once the royal hunting grounds of the Maharaja of Mysore, Bandipur National Park is now a flourishing wildlife sanctuary and a proud cornerstone of India’s Project Tiger. Spanning 874 square kilometers, this dry deciduous forest in the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve is teeming with life and natural beauty. From October to March, Bandipur offers its best sightings, with the forest at its most active and verdant.
