Yes, a visa is required to enter India. You can apply online for a visa via e-Visa (Electronic Travel Authorization). We are happy to assist you with this process or we can even apply on your behalf upon confirmation of the tour.

You need to have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining after your return date. You will also need at least one blank page for each of the countries you are visiting.

It’s mandatory that you obtain a comprehensive travel insurance policy that covers you for medical costs, emergency travel, and safe return. You should also ensure it covers any country-specific requirements. For example, Covid-19 cover.

Before travelling to India, make sure your routine vaccinations—such as tetanus, diphtheria, polio, and measles—are up to date. Additionally, your doctor may recommend vaccines for hepatitis A and B, typhoid, and Japanese encephalitis, depending on where you plan to travel. It’s also a good idea to discuss rabies vaccination if you expect to have close contact with animals. Checking in with a travel health clinic or your GP a few weeks before departure is the best way to make sure you’re fully protected.
