India’s first Biosphere Reserve
Bandipur National Park is widely regarded as one of India’s most beautiful and well-managed national parks. It is 80 kilometers from Mysore on the way to Ooty in Tamil Nadu.
It is India’s first Biosphere Reserve and is located in the Nilgiris. The park, which covers an area of 874 square kilometers, is home to a diverse range of endangered wildlife, including elephants, hornbills, deers, pythons, sloth bears, pythons, panthers, and others, as well as a plethora of teak and sandalwood trees.
