Guleria Kothi – Varanasi

Step back in time into the Guleria Kothi, a stunning 18th century riverfront home that has been carefully restored and brought into this century. 

Built on the Guleria Ghat on the revered Ganga in Varanasi, the melting pot of Indian culture, the structural columns, beams, and exterior walls of the Kothi are entirely made of sandstone that was quarried in the Chunar area. Guleria Kothi provides guests with traditional Indian hospitality together with contemporary comforts.

Guleria Kothi is a riverfront property located on Varanasi’s ghats (steps). Four wheelers are not permitted in their land. The best way to get to their hotel is via boat. Every one of their guests is met and dropped off by boat as part of a 24-hour boat service.

Given the close proximity of popular landmarks, such as Nepali Temple (Kathwala Temple) (0.3 mi) and Golden Temple (Kashi Vishwanath) (1.3 mi), guests of Guleria Kothi can easily access Varanasi's well known attractions and local and spiritual culture. Varanasi is also known for some great historic sites, including Ramnagar Fort, Batuk Bhairav Mandir, and Statue of Standing Buddha, which are not too far away.

Cafe Gueria is located on the Guleria Ghat, overlooking the tranquil Ganges. It is more than simply a cafeteria in Varanasi; it is a location where the warmth and joy of Indian hospitality naturally meld with the city's relaxed, unstructured mood.
The roof-top fine-dining terrace restaurant Ganga Teere serves delicious Varanasi cuisine in addition to traditional Indian fare.
