Only one kilometre from the Turia Gate of Madhya Pradesh’s Pench National Park is the fifty acres of lush vegetation, expansive lawns, and natural landscaping that make up Pench Jungle Camp, a haven for nature lovers.

Recently rebuilt, Pench Jungle Camp in Khawasa provides complete comfort and elegance to assure the best possible experience. Skilled naturalists are available here to guide visitors about the magnificent flora and fauna of the region. This resort has successfully given tourists first-rate services and priceless wildlife encounters for the past 15 years. Just one fun fact – this is where the BBC crew were staying while they were filming their renowned documentary Tiger-Spy. There’s also a popular art museum, the Tathastu Art Centre a 12-minute walk from the resort.

Experiences

From the goosebump-inducing moment you enter camp, you are in for an experience you will not forget. Safaris, rare birds, bears, tigers, deer, magnificent jungle scenes, and the call of the wild. Then there are more sedentary avenues for relaxation like soaking in the swimming pool surrounded by tall Mahua and Teak trees. You will unwind and regenerate in a natural setting. And romantic encounters like candlelit jungle dinners.
There is also a Health Spa with skilled masseurs from North East India, and a separate library section for peaceful reading.

Gastronomy

The Pench Jungle Camp restaurant is elegantly constructed in traditional style. Order either a set meal or a breakfast, lunch, or dinner buffet. Fresh fruits, vegetables, and a range of delectable meals are available in their specialty buffets, sure to please any taste.
You can order a bonfire and live barbeque stations for you in the open space of the camp. Or set up your own private dinner in the woods with the customised bush dinner service. The restaurant also caters to any unique dietary needs.

Comfort

Cottage interior design is inspired by the indigenous way of life in the nearby villages of Pench. Standard safari rooms were thoughtfully created to offer comfort and luxury without being too gaudy. Deluxe safari cottages include a magnificent verandah with a panoramic view of the forest and all the latest conveniences. The lavishly built Family Suite, which can sleep 4-6 people, provides quality family time.
Tents are constructed from a multi-layered insulated fabric, which keeps them warmer in winter and cooler in summer and provide an authentic jungle experience.
