Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace

Conceptualised by a maharaja, this modern-day palace, which serves as the current home of the former Jodhpur royal family and is the sixth-largest private property in the world, shares one feature with Agra’s famous Taj Mahal: palm court marble.

The Palace Rooms' interiors are magnificently decorated and come with contemporary conveniences. Historical Suites were originally used as royal guests' homes. Royal Suites features a spacious bedroom and sitting space with mirror-finished terrazzo. Grand Royal Suites were once only available to visiting royalty. The Maharaja Suite features a sizable balcony and faces the courtyard. The Maharani Suite is truly the most remarkable suite in the palace.
