Bandhavgarh National Park, formerly a hunting ground for the Maharajas of Rewa, is a world-renowned tiger reserve with the highest density of Bengal tigers in the world.<\/span><\/h5>\r\n

The park was named after the Bandhavgarh fort, which is located nearby on 800 m high cliffs. The fort is now in ruins, but the hour-long trek there is worthwhile because it provides excellent views of the surrounding area. In most parks, you have to be lucky to see a tiger; in Bandhavgarh, you have to be unlucky not to see a tiger.<\/span><\/h5>\r\nBecause of the frequent sightings of royal tigers, this national park is a must-see for all wildlife enthusiasts.<\/span>\r\n\r\nBandhavgarh is home to more than 25 species of mammals, 250 species of birds, 80 types of butterflies, and a variety of reptiles. Other mammals found in Bandhavgarh include panthers, wolves, hyenas, wild dogs, gaur, cheetal, sambhar, barking deer, sloth bears, and many others. Safari at Bandhavgarh<\/h3>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The months of October to May are ideal for visiting the national park.\r\nJeep safaris operate in two shifts, one in the early morning around sunrise (around 5.30 AM) for four hours, and then again at 2-3 PM until sunset. Visitors who want to see tigers usually prefer the Tala region.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>

Tigers, Asiatic jackals, foxes, sloth bears, ratels, grey mongoose, striped hyenas, jungle cats, and leopards are among the fauna found in the national park. It also has bird species such as the dove, parakeet, serpent eagle, black vulture, and common peafowl. The area is home to a variety of reptiles, including pythons, turtles, vipers, and rat-snakes.\r\nThe flora is typically dry and deciduous, with sal and bamboo trees dominating the forest.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>

Bandhavgarh National Park was formerly a hunting preserve of the Maharaja of Rewa and is now known for its heritage and white tigers. This location is legendary, and the park contains a plethora of historically significant landmarks.\r\nSince the time of Ramayana, the city of Bandhavgarh has been destroyed and rebuilt several times, which explains the copper tinted air and stone wind fragrances.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>

AThe Bandhavgarh Fort is located at the eastern end of the Bandhavgarh National Park. This is the highest point in the national park. Bandhavgarh Fort, one of India's oldest forts, was built more than 2000 years ago, though the history surrounding it is unclear.\r\nA one-hour trek from Tala zone is required, and visitors must be accompanied by a guide.
