Observe endless herds of wild elephants roaming the grasslands of Udawalawe National Park \u2013 the world\u2019s best place to guarantee elephant sightings on every safari.<\/b><\/h5>\r\nWith approximately 600 to 700 Sri Lankan elephants residing within the confines of this wildlife park, it is an amazing and unforgettable experience to witness these elephants, both adults and young, in their natural habitat. Udawalawe is also home to Sri Lankan wildlife such as the Rusty-spotted Cat, Fishing Cat, and the Sri Lankan Leopard. An incredible total of 183 bird species have been recorded as inhabiting the Park, while many others pass through on their migratory routes.
