One of the first bungalows in the valley of Sri Lanka’s central hill country, Nuwara Eliya, Ferncliff is an 18 century family home set to capture your imagination.<\/h5>\r\n

Renovations have nevertheless retained its colonial charm, and Ferncliff presents you the authentic \u2018Little England\u2019, an idyllic valley, once long ago full of elephants, deer and wild boar.<\/p>\r\n

The pristine property is set on approximately two and a half acres of land with large rolling gardens that have been uniquely landscaped, and also includes secluded benches for reading and relaxation on fine days. Ferncliff Bungalow offers four rooms and two suites and each room features a unique layout designed to honour the various generations who have made Ferncliff their home.

\r\nRooms are named Geraldine, Isabelle, Louise, and Amelia while Frederick and Suzanne are the names of the two suites. All amenities are available in the rooms. All of the rooms and suites are non-smoking. Bask in the hot water available to make up for the cold climate. Ferncliff is a lavish homage to bungalow style architecture and colonial comfort.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>

You can go to a Tea Factory nearby, maybe with the guidance of the Ferncliff team, and learn the whole process from tea plucking to tea packing. Stroll in the tea plantations and enjoy pristine nature.

\r\nThere's an English croquet set and Bocce, an ancient Rome-inspired variation of the game of boules, in their tranquil lawns. Board games are available at Ferncliff if you'd rather remain put and curl up by the fire. Traditional Sri Lankan cuisine is served at Ferncliff, along with a variety of Western dishes made using ingredients that are grown right in the Ferncliff gardens. Choose from a variety of soups, entrees, and homemade desserts, including their incredible homemade ice cream. There's a variety of snacks in between, such as waffles, scones, and other treats like crumbed and herbed sweet potato fries.
