\u2018Ishq\u2019 loosely means \u201cLove \u201d in Arabic. This was originally the home of Hanif Yusoof and his family, the villa was born out of a passion to share the epitome of luxury, the warmth of a family home and a destination that evokes a feeling of home.<\/h5>\r\n

Designed by renowned architect, Channa Daswatta who is a pupil of the late Geoffrey Bawa, Ishq makes great use of local materials such as stone, granite and wood. Like all Bawa designs, this too has been designed to let natural light and cooling breezes freely infiltrate interior areas. Ishq Colombo offers accommodation in in 04 rooms which comprises of 2 Master Suites, a Guest Pool Suite and a Guest Corner Suite. Each room is huge, attractive, and has modern conveniences like an iPad and a Bose speaker system. The Master Suites are on the upper floor which has its own private living areas.

\r\nThe decor and furnishings of the house are stunning and inspiring, relaxation comes naturally when you enter the rooms. \r\nThe proprietors of Ishq are of Memoni ancestry, and they have included some of their favorite Memoni delicacies to the menu, which their chefs can make upon request. Memon food is a rare and special delight that combines Persian and North Indian flavors.
