Gileemale Walawwa<\/h1>\r\n

It is a wonderful area where the layers of time are peeled back to expose a historically significant mansion that served as a rest stop for Sri Lankan rulers before they began their adventurous journey up the mystical Adam’s Peak.<\/h5>\r\n

The Walawwa is located within the luxuriant 25-acre Gileemale Estate, which supports conventional farming practices and is home to Sabaragamuwans who cultivate cinnamon, tap rubber, collect coconuts, and harvest tea.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Ratnapura is especially famous for gem mining and rubber plantations in Sri Lanka. They offer you a full tour from the tree tapping to the smoke house in the rubber production process. A tour to a nearby gem mining site can also be arranged.
